PERUNOVICH, WHO’S FROM HIBBING, IS THE 6TH UMD PLAYER TO EARN THE HONOR; THE OTHERS WERE BILL WATSON, TOM KURVERS, CHRIS MARINUCCI, JUNIOR LESSARD AND JACK CONNOLLY.
MINNESOTA AND HARVARD HAVE EACH HAD FOUR HOBEY BAKER WINNERS.
ROSEAU’S NEAL BROTEN WAS THE FIRST WINNER OF THE AWARD, IN 1981.
