KATIE BOROWICZ HAD 17 KILLS AND BECCA WENSLOFF 23 ASSISTS FOR THE RAMS, WHO PLAY AT EAST GRAND FORKS SACRED HEART TOMORROW NIGHT. EAST GRAND FORKS SHUT OUT WARROAD 3-0; ABBY HARDWICK HAD 8 ASSISTS FOR THE WARRIORS.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS – IN SECTION EIGHT/ 9-MAN, KASEN SWENSON RUSHED FOR TWO TOUCHDOWNS AND THREW FOR ANOTHER AS B-G-MR BEAT KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL 36-28. ANDREW LOKEN’S TWO TOUCHDOWNS HELPED GRYGLA/GOODRIDGE BLAST THE NORTHERN FREEZE 40-14. WARREN GOT BY NORTH CENTRAL 12-6 IN OVERTIME. SATURDAY’S SEMIFINALS HAVE B-G-MR AT GRYGLA/GOODRIDGE; AND WARREN AT TOP SEED STEPHEN-ARGYLE. IN SECTION 8AA, WARROAD WENT ON THE ROAD TO BEAT FRAZEE 24-7; THE WARRIORS PLAY AT NUMBER ONE SEED BARNESVILLE SATURDAY. IN SECTION 8AAA, THE ONLY QUARTERFINAL GAME HAD PERHAM PUMMELING PARK RAPIDS 57-12. PERHAM GOES TO PEQUOT LAKES, AND EAST GRAND FORKS TO D-G-F SATURDAY FOR SEMIFINAL GAMES.
ROSEAU HOSTS IT’S FIRST YOUTH HOCKEY TOURNAMENT OF THE WINTER THIS WEEKEND. IT’S A THIRTEEN TEAM 12U “A” AND “B” TOURNAMENT. AMONG THE VISITORS ARE WOODBURY, BLAINE AND EDEN PRAIRIE.
